Still Rockin'
"The Takes still rock even though only one original band member remains after 40+ years of existence! Johnny Van Zant's voice was a little during the first couple of songs, but as he warmed up, so did the energy and the crowd. The band performed a couple of songs from their upcoming album, God & Guns due out 9/29, in addition to many of the old familiar tunes from the 70's. I recommend The Takes for all true rockers--you will not be disappointed. I have seen many classic rock bands perform who just aren't the same."
